The oldest Chamber Orchestra in Germany

The Cologne Chamber Orchestra celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2013. A chamber orchestra celebrating its 90-year anniversary is indeed an exception on the German and European chamber orchestra scene. What only a few people know: the Cologne Chamber Orchestra is the oldest German chamber orchestra – its debut concert took place in 1923.
